IN THE
COMMUNITY
As a family operated business that has roots in the Okanagan, we at Space Centre Storage take great pride in the community we live in. What does that mean? It means that we want to provide a level of service and quality of product that makes our community members happy. We want to ensure that our business is good for the community, and serves a purpose.
We want to give back to this place we call home - so it continues to be one of the best places to live.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
One of the ways we have chosen to support our community is to provide preferred rates to non-profit organizations. As these groups continue to support a healthy community through arts, sports, health, fundraising, and more, we want to show our appreciation for what they do everyday.
Space Centre Storage is very proud of their partnership with Hope Air - Canada's only national charity providing free travel and accommodations for Canadians in financial need who must access medical care far from home.
" We have a hard time saying no when local organizations need a little help, especially when businesses have the opportunity to support important needs in our community. It’s rewarding to help customers with their storage needs, but it’s even more meaningful when we’re able to support the people and organizations we live alongside. "
- Cameron Martyna, General Manager
Across the Lake
Where everyone’s a swimmer
Space Centre Storage is the official storage supplier of these amazing lake swims, with 10 events around the Okanagan and BC this year. We invite everyone to discover the magic of open water swimming in breathtaking lake destinations.
“Behind every Across the Lake Swim event is a lot of gear. Space Centre Storage plays an essential role behind the scenes by providing the containers that keep everything organized, secure, and ready for our swims. We’re grateful for their support of the Across the Lake Swim.”
– Peter Rudd, Events Director
Paws It Forward
Working towards a better tomorrow
Driven by a single goal, Paws It Forward wants to do their part in making the world a better place for our canine friends. They’ve been able to bring their rescue transport van dream to life! Space Centre is helping sponsor this van and supporting Paws It Forward as they give countless dogs a second chance.
“As a volunteer-run dog rescue with no physical shelter or office, the support of the Space Centre means everything to us. Having a safe, secure, and reliable place to store supplies for our foster network allows us to focus on what matters most - rescuing, caring for, and rehoming dogs in need. Their staff are always friendly, helpful, and supportive, and their generosity and belief in our mission make our work possible. We are truly grateful to be part of a community that shows such compassion and care.”
– Chelan Stubbs, Director
