In business since 1985, Space Centre is the largest and most established storage facility in Kelowna. With 11 properties , 2900 units, and over 400,000 square feet of space. The selection of sizes and features is unrivaled.

OUR MISSION
PREPARING FOR LAUNCH
1982
Space Centre Storage is created. The company had a few hard years enduring a recession and almost had to completely dissolve. In 1985, new management came in and gave Space Centre new life!
START OF EXPANSION
Space Centre starts to make its mark in the community by building the Highway Section of the facility +152 drive up lockers.
1992
SPACE CENTRE TAKES OFF
2000-2008
New addition at 3525 Edwards Rd in 2000, providing 110 lockers and 3 lease spaces. Next comes 451 Adams Rd in 2003 for another 148 lockers, 4 lease spaces, and 6 office spaces. Acland RV Lot introduced in 2005 housing 191 parking spots. 2008 saw 320 more lockers and 8 leases spaces at 320 Adams Road.
SPACE CENTRE GOES MOBILE
Space Centre purchased the MI-BOX license for the Okanagan in 2013. Now there are over 150 containers all throughout the Okanagan.

Expanded RV/Boat storage with the purchase of the Sexsmith Lot +157 parking spots

Space Centre Storage is established. A recession that year meant financial trouble for the original owners leading to the Martyna and Grenier families purchasing the assets in 1985. Kathy and Mitch Martyna took over management in 1991 and 100% ownership in 1996.
1992
START OF EXPANSION
Space Centre starts to make its mark in the community by building the Highway Section of the facility +152 drive up lockers.

Space Centre TAKES OFF
