Drive-Up Heated Units
The Space Centre is the only facility in Kelowna and the Okanagan to offer storage with drive-through covered access. Loading and unloading can be done inside, out of the elements. Rain, snow, wind, or sun - you are protected!
Most units are heated to above 10° C. However, even the non-heated storage units enjoy the benefits of lower humidity and reduced temperature fluctuations due to the large size of our buildings.
People requiring long-term storage will find our covered access units particularly suitable for the security and protection of stored items.
Outside Access
Along with covered access storage units, Space Centre Storage offers traditional drive-up outside access with 24-hour access available on some units. Features of these units include:
- Concrete exterior walls
- Steel interior storage unit walls
- Adequate storage lighting
- A sloped threshold to ensure water does not enter the unit
- Security patrolled and video monitoring after hours in gated areas
We ensure that your belongings stay dry, safe and secure.
Forklift Services
Unique to the storage industry, we have forklifts with certified operators. Pallet jacks and moving dollies are available for customer use. Whether your shipments are boxes, palettes, or oversized, we can help get it into your storage! Please note, we do not permit the storage of liquids or hazardous materials.
Why are licensed operators needed for forklifts?
While driving a forklift may seem simple, it requires knowledge of the equipment as well as expertise and skill. Caution should be exerted in all situations involving heavy machinery, and operator error can lead to damage of products, machinery, and even staff. That’s why we’ve made sure to have licensed operators on hand at Space Centre Storage. Just let us know when you need them!

The Space Centre is the ONLY facility that offers a FREE move-in truck and driver to help you get your items into storage. All you have to do is load and unload the truck! Just one of those little things that make a BIG difference.

Most of our customers store their personal belongings, furniture, seasonal decorations, commercial product, old files, and more!
Yes! We have a great range of storage unit sizes, from 4 x 6 to 10 x 25! Depending on the locker, the ceiling is between 7-16ft high
We have the best security around! We require our customers to use a disc lock (we do not hold the keys), customers must code in and out for access, we have over 120 security cameras, we have nightly security patrols, we have video monitoring while our office is closed, we have individual locker alarms and motion sensors, and we always have security top of mind. We pride ourselves on providing a secure location for your items.
No, our storage units do not have a power supply.
